CURRENT PROJECT
I recently finished a large text piece for the lobby of the new Contemplative Sciences Center at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville. This diptych, 24 x 120 inches, reflects the theme of water that is integral to the architecture. The building will officially open in April 2025. Thanks to LYDM Gallery in Charlottesville for coordinating this project.

Left panel: I cut letters from The Aeneid by Virgil to recreate a poem by Diane Ackerman, School Prayer.
Right panel: I cut letters from The Odyssey by Homer to recreate the poem In Praise of the Beauty of Water Within by Jennifer Reis.
